Northeast 119th Street and Northeast 152nd Avenue
The roadway is open to traffic. There is still work to be completed on-site. Traffic control will be present to direct travelers during any lane closures. The traveling public can expect delays due to these lane closures and construction.
Northeast 68th Street Sidewalk
The road of Northeast 68th Street, from Northeast 10th Avenue and Northeast 14th Avenue, has been reopened. However, there is remaining construction activity and workers will be present in the area. Work zone traffic control is being used and may cause delays. Alternative routes are advised to avoid delays.
Northwest 36th Avenue
Currently, there is a lane closure of Northwest 36th Avenue from Northwest 138th Street and Northwest Bliss Road. Local access for emergency vehicles and neighboring residents will be maintained during the closure.
Northeast 179th Street and Northeast 50th Avenue
Construction of the intersection is wrapping up. The contractor will be working on final items.
Construction activity has resumed. This project will construct a raised median on Northeast 78th Street between Northeast 30th Avenue and Northeast 39th Avenue. The project will include a full-access illuminated intersection at the intersection of Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 34th Avenue. The traveling public can expect delays due to construction.
Northeast Sunset Falls Road Pavement Preservation
Construction has been delayed until summer 2025 due to challenges obtaining materials and the onset of cold and wet weather.
The contractor has been working on Bridges 23.
On Northeast 99th Street, the road work is physically complete and open. Intermittent work on plant establishment will continue but traffic control is not expected to be employed.
NE 78th St at NE 13th and 16th Ave Water Quality
Currently, this project is coming to completion. The contractor is working on the final items, but the work in the roadway is complete.
Hockinson Elementary School Flashers and Crosswalk
The contractor will be starting the electrical work on Northeast 164th Street/Northeast 202nd Street. The travelling public can expect delays due to construction.
NE 130th Ave Pedestrian improvements
Construction activity has resumed. Contractor is working to finish the remaining work.
The contractor is wrapping up the punch list and has begun taking down the containment. The contractor will install new handrail once the scaffolding is removed and then demobilize from the site.
The bridge is anticipated to be open to the public on the 20th of November.
Traffic Operations
Clark County Traffic Operations in working with the cities of Battle Ground, Camas, and Washougal to perform work in many intersections that will incorporate city sites into the county's traffic management system.
A majority of this work in complete. The work that remains does not take place in the street.

Northeast 10th Avenue (Northeast 149th Street to Northeast 154th Street)
NE 10th Avenue is open to traffic. Plant establishment work, such as weeding, irrigating and replanting, will continue sporadically around the culvert and stormwater facility until February 2025. This may require occasional single-lane closures, but the roadway will remain open to traffic.
A contractor working at NW 99th Street at NW 9th Ave
Fink Construction is working for Clark Public Utilities Water to extend larger water pipes to the west. They are digging a trench along NW 99th Street. At a later time, they will dig into the side streets to make additional connections.
With this activity, the vehicle detectors were dug up before schedule. Our staff is working to provide alternate signal timing that accounts for variable traffic volumes and the high pedestrian traffic at the signal adjacent to the high school.
County engineers will monitor the intersection's performance through the first day of school and make any adjustments needed.
Clark Regional Wastewater District
A contractor working for a private developer and Clark Regional Wastewater District will close Northeast 179th Street between Northeast 29th and Northeast 50th avenues to install a new sanitary sewer line. This section of roadway will be closed to all through traffic. During the closure, local access will be accommodated for residents within the closure area and emergency vehicles. Drivers should expect traffic revisions and detours within the area. Work is scheduled to be completed by October. Detour map (PDF).

Clark Public Utilities
A private contractor working for Clark Public Utilities District will have multiple lane shifts on Northwest 99th Street between NW Lakeshore Ave and NW 11th Ave. They will be installing a new water transmission main. Drivers should expect delays and traffic revisions within the area. This work will be completed by November 2024.
