Land Records may assist with:
- land ownership, acreage, and the mapping of tax parcels
- GIS layers related to tax parcels
- purchase of survey maps, plat maps, and map products
The Clark County Land Records group is responsible for maintaining the county tax maps, including property boundaries and all other legal boundaries required to assess property values or assign fees. The Land Records group also tracks the chain of title and ownership of all land in Clark County. They track, map, and compile data pertaining to annexations and other activities that impact property ownership and taxation.
Note: Regarding Mapping
County tax maps are only designed to depict the general size, shape, and location of tax parcels. County tax maps are not surveys, and should not be used to determine the location of property lines on the ground.
