Northeast Delfel Road realignment project open house, April 10
Public Works is planning to reconfigure the intersection of Northeast Delfel Road and Northeast 179th Street. The project will move the north leg of Northeast Delfel Road to the west to align with the south leg of Northeast Delfel Road and replace the existing traffic signal with a multi-lane roundabout. We're hosting an information session about the project on April 10. Learn more.
Temporary lane closures for sidewalk, ramp and signal work throughout the county
Work will begin in April on annual upgrades and repairs to sidewalks and pedestrian infrastructure to meet current ADA regulations. Work will also begin to upgrade traffic signals at several locations in the county. Both projects may cause temporary lane closures, brief delays and other traffic impacts. Learn more on our Construction Traffic Delays webpage.
Three river miles of East Fork Lewis River closed beginning in April
Beginning in April, the East Fork Lewis River will be closed to boaters, fishers and other river users for three miles downstream from the lower portion of Daybreak Regional Park (downstream/west of Northeast Daybreak Road/82nd Avenue). The closure will allow for Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership’s contractor, Tapani, Inc., to construct the Lower East Fork Lewis River Reconnection Project. Learn more.
