Community Planning guides community growth and development in a manner that protects environmental resources, enhances quality of life and involves citizens in the decisions that affect them in collaboration with the county's cites, towns and tribe. Planning oversees the amendment process for the Comprehensive Plan and Clark County Code consistent with the requirements of the state's Growth Management Act and other state laws while providing staff support to several commission and councils.
