Weed Board

The Clark County Weed Board is a five-member board that advises the Clark County Council on controlling noxious weeds in Clark County.

Noxious Weed Control Board expiring positions

Clark County is accepting applications to fill one seat on a five-person board that adopts regulations necessary for an effective noxious weed control program. The board position represents the following district:

  • District 4: Bounded by the Clark/Cowlitz County Line on the north, a line running north from Heisson Bridge following the east boundary of Range 2 E on the east, East Fork Lewis River on the south and Clark/Cowlitz County Line on the west

Board members serve four-year terms. People interested in serving must live in the district. Three of the five members of the board must produce agriculture. A map showing the five districts is available at www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/weed-board.

The Weed Board is scheduled to meet four times in 2025:

  • Feb 3 – Regular meeting
  • May 5 – Regular meeting
  • Aug 4 – Regular meeting and appeals, if any
  • Nov 3 – Regular meeting and appeals, if any

Meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m.
