Free or low-cost Apple Health is available year-round and a Special Enrollment is available if you have certain life changes.

Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) is a benefit for Washington employees. It’s available to use when a serious health condition prevents you from working or when you need time to care for a family member, bond with a new child or spend time with a family member preparing for military service overseas.

For assistance in applying for PFML, call Within Reach, Help Me Grow at 800.322.2588 or make an appointment with a PFML representative at WorkSource Vancouver, by calling 360.735.5000, Thursdays from 9am to 5pm.

Clark County Public Health no longer offers pregnancy testing, you can purchase a pregnancy test at most major pharmacies.  Call your primary care provider and see what they provide for testing and referral services. If you don't have a provider or insurance call one of these pregnancy centers in your area for additional support:

Plan B emergency contraception is available at major retailers--no prescription or ID needed.  By contacting your medical clinic first, you may be able to get the cost covered by your health insurance.  Planned Parenthood may also be able to help you obtain Plan B at an affordable cost.

WA State laws on sexual and reproductive health care, allows minors younger than age 18 have the right to obtain contraceptive, prenatal and STI services without parental involvement.

Contact your medical clinic for information on your medical insurance's birth control coverage and privacy laws.

There are several opportunities in our community for you to join a parenting education program designed to give families important skills and information to help children reach their potential in safe, loving homes. Click on this link 211info.org to find a group in your area.

WIC program is designed to help pregnant women, new mothers and young children eat well, learn about nutrition and stay healthy.  Fathers, grandparents, foster parents and other legal guardians are also encouraged to apply for services for eligible children under their care.

Clark County WIC services are now provided by Sea Mar Community Health Centers at several locations
