Public Health is opening appointments for COVID-19 vaccination at the Tower Mall site to anyone who is eligible in Phase 1a or Phase 1b Tiers 1-2. The link to schedule appointments will be posted on the Public Health COVID-19 Vaccine webpage and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Nextdoor) at noon today.
If you do not have internet access or need help scheduling an appointment, call Public Health at 888.225.4625. Call center representatives can assist with scheduling, and language assistance is available.
Appointments will be available to anyone currently eligible to be vaccinated, including those in Phase 1b Tier 2 who became eligible today. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, visit www.FindYourPhaseWA.org to confirm eligibility.
The Tower Mall vaccination site will operate 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday and offer drive-thru and walk-up options in the Tower Mall parking lot, 5403 E. Mill Plain Blvd, with vehicle entry off Blandford Drive. Appointments are required. People who visit the site without an appointment will not be vaccinated.
You will receive a confirmation email from Safeway after scheduling your appointment. The Tower Mall site is administering Pfizer vaccine. Your second-dose appointment will automatically be scheduled for three weeks later at the same time, day of the week and location. Please ensure the time and day of week you select will work for your first- and second-dose appointments. Vaccines are free.
Those with appointments should arrive at the site at their appointment time. Arriving before the scheduled appointment time could lead to traffic backups and longer wait times.
Drivers should enter the site off North Blandford Drive between MacArthur Boulevard and Mill Plain Boulevard and exit onto North Devine Road. Walk-up patients will enter the site off East Mill Plain Boulevard between Blandford Road and Divine Road. Follow the directional signs for COVID-19 vaccine.
The Tower Mall vaccination site is a collaboration between Clark County Public Health, the city of Vancouver and Safeway. COVID-19 vaccine is provided by Safeway through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program. Safeway pharmacists will administer Pfizer vaccine, with support from Clark County Public Health. No vaccines will be stored on site outside of normal operating hours. The city of Vancouver is providing non-medical staff to assist with site operations.
