Vancouver, Wash. ‒ The Commission on Aging will present a summary of its fourth year of work to the Board of County Councilors on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. The 4:30 p.m. meeting will be in the sixth-floor Hearing Room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., and open to the public.

The Commission on Aging, supported by the Board of County Councilors, is a nine-member volunteer group that implements the Aging Readiness Plan and provides leadership addressing needs of aging community members.

It was formed in 2012 to help the county put into place 91 strategies identified in the Aging Readiness Plan, a community assessment by a countywide citizen task force. For more information about the commission, please visit www.clark.wa.gov/community-planning/commission-aging.
