Chapman House

Body

The two-story Chapman House is composed of two abutting gable roofed units with a polygonal turret enlivening the northwest corner. A veranda wraps around three sides of the house. 

Charles Chapman, an attorney and realtor, built this house in 1905. He played a prominent role in early Clark County history, donating much of the land for 119th Street, which was previously known as Chapman Road. 

  • Listed on the Clark County Heritage Register in 1983.
