The Clark County Law Library this week announced the addition of an appeal kit to its array of self-help kits.
“This kit focuses on starting an appeal of a Superior Court case that is finished,” said Law Librarian Maria Sosnowski. “It includes an overview about writing the brief and going to court for a hearing, but the focus is on how to start the appeal.”
The kit includes the forms and instructions up to the brief-writing stage, followed by a few pages about briefs and the hearing.
The self-help kit will be available on the county’s website at https://clark.wa.gov/law-library/self-help-form-kits. Kits also can be purchased at the Law Library on the first floor of the courthouse at 1200 Franklin St. The kit costs $40, shipping is $10 and there is a $2 fee when using a credit card.
Information on Clark County Law Library’s wide variety of self-help kits including ordering instructions is available on the county’s website at https://clark.wa.gov/law-library/self-help-form-kits.
