Vancouver, WA - On Friday, August 16, at 10 am, a public lot drawing will be conducted to determine ballot order for the Washougal School District, Director, District 1 race.

This public drawing will be held at 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver, and may be witnessed by the news media, the public and by any candidate.

Last week, a special three-day candidate filing period was held to accept candidates for elected offices where no one filed during the regular candidate filing period: Town of Yacolt, Council Position 2 and Washougal School District Director, District 1. As a result of the special filing period, Town of Yacolt, Council, Position 2 has one candidate and no lot drawing is necessary for this race.
