At 2 pm on Thursday, Jan. 16, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct logic and accuracy tests of the programming of the accessible voting units and the programming that is used to tabulate ballots for the Feb. 11 Special Election.
The tests will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. These tests are required under Washington state law before every election. Members of the news media, candidates, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend these tests.
Ballots for this election will be mailed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
There are eight propositions from local jurisdictions on the special election ballot including the City of Camas and most of the school districts. For a complete list of the participating jurisdictions and resolutions, visit clarkvotes.org. and click on the link to the Feb. 11 Special Election.
The process of preparing the ballot tabulation system to produce election results will begin at 7:15 pm election day, Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Election results will be available between 8:15 - 8:30 pm on the Elections website at clarkvotes.org.
