Canvassing Board to meet to call for a manual recount of Commissioner of Public Lands race

The Clark County Canvassing Board will convene at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, to direct the Elections Department to conduct a manual recount for the office of Commissioner of Public Lands. 

The canvassing board will give authority to perform all functions necessary to prepare and manually recount all ballots cast in Clark County for the position of Commissioner of Public Lands, from the Washington State Primary held on Aug. 6, 2024. 

The sorting procedures, followed by the manual recount will begin on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. and will continue daily starting Monday, Aug. 26 at 8:30 a.m. until completed.

The meeting will be held in the Elections Department conference room at 1408 Franklin St. This building is wheelchair-accessible.
