Clark County Public Health is continuing its measles outbreak investigation. Since Jan. 1, Public Health has identified 70 confirmed cases and is currently investigating three suspect cases. There are no new exposure locations.

Here are the details of the confirmed cases:

Age

  • 1 to 10 years: 51 cases
  • 11 to 18 years: 15 cases
  • 19 to 29 years: one case
  • 30 to 39 years: three cases

Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Council is seeking an applicant to fill one of three Clark County at-large positions on the seven-member Fort Vancouver Regional Library District Board of Trustees. This position is completing a term set to expire Dec. 31, 2021. The board member can then apply for two additional terms.

Change made to timeframe of March 2 exposure at The Vancouver Clinic

Clark County Public Health is continuing its measles outbreak investigation and has no changes to case numbers to report today. Since Jan. 1, Public Health has identified 70 confirmed cases and is not currently investigating any suspect cases. Public Health has not identified any new locations where people may have been exposed to measles but has adjusted the timeframe for a previously identified site.

Vancouver, Wash. – The 2019 Clark County Farm Advisory Committee will meet 10:10 to 11:50 am Monday, March 11, in the sixth-floor training room in the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The meeting is open to the public.

The committee serves as an advisory group to the Assessor in implementing assessment guidelines as established by the department for open space, farm and agricultural, and timber land classified under the provisions of Chapter 84.34 RCW and WAC 458-30-345.

Vancouver, Wash. – It’s a Family Affair, an exhibit of art by Clark County employees and their family members, will be on display in the Rebecca Anstine Sixth Floor Gallery through Friday, March 22, 2019. 

A reception honoring the artists is scheduled for 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday, March 18, at the gallery on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Clark County Arts Commission.
