County Auditor’s office details ARPA SLFRF funds distribution
The Clark County Auditor’s Office recently provided the county council with a proposed spending for the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal recovery Fund (SLFRF). Details on the distribution of ARPA SLFRF are available here.
The U.S. Federal Government’s $1.9 trillion plan was signed into law in March 2021 to bolster ongoing support for state, local and tribal governments in their efforts to provide economic assistance for American workers, families and small businesses in their responses to the public health crisis and negative economic impacts resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clark County will receive $94.7 million of the $350 billion State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund committed to supporting for state, local and tribal governments under ARPA. The funds will be dispersed to the county in two equal distributions; $47.35 million in 2021 and the balance in 2022.
