Aug. 1 primary, special election ballots to be mailed, election night returns

Vancouver, Wash. ‒ Ballots for the Aug. 1 primary and special election will be mailed Friday, July 14, and should start showing up in voters’ mailboxes early next week, according to the Clark County Elections Office.

If a voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, July 20, he or she should contact the Elections Office at 360.397.2345 and ask for a replacement ballot. Voters can get replacement ballots in person at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Voters also can get a replacement ballot by emailing elections@clark.wa.gov or mailing a request to Clark County Elections, P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver, WA 98666-8815.

Only voters in Camas Ward 1, the cities of La Center, Vancouver, Washougal and Woodland, the town of Yacolt, the Evergreen, Hockinson and Vancouver school districts, Clark Regional Wastewater District, Clark County Fire & Rescue and Clark County Emergency Medical Service District No. 1 will receive ballots.

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 1, Elections staff will start entering scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system. Election results will be released before or at 8:15 p.m. in the Dragonfly Café on the first floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. Results also will be available on the Auditor’s website at clarkvotes.org.
