At 1:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 3, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct logic and accuracy tests of the programming of the accessible voting units and the programming that is used to tabulate ballots for the Nov. 5 General and Special Election.

The tests will be held at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. These tests are required under Washington state law before every election. Members of the news media, candidates, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend these tests.

The Clark County Canvassing Board will convene at 1 pm Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 to canvass returns of a statewide manual recount of the Commissioner of Public Lands race from the Aug. 6, 2024 Primary and Special Election. The board will convene to perform any canvassing duties needed and certify the amended abstract.  

All meetings will be held in the Elections Department conference room at 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver. This building is wheelchair-accessible.

The Clark County Canvassing Board met at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, to direct the Elections Department to conduct a manual recount for the office of Commissioner of Public Lands. 

The canvassing board gives authority to perform all functions necessary to prepare and manually recount all ballots cast in Clark County for the position of Commissioner of Public Lands, from the Washington State Primary held on Aug. 6, 2024.

Every election, the Clark County Auditor’s Office provides an online and printed voters’ guide with information about candidates and ballot measures for voters to make an informed decision when voting. The November voters’ guide includes local ballot measures with supporting and opposing statements written by citizens.

Beginning at 10 am Wednesday, Aug. 7, elections officials will perform a hand count of approximately 600 ballots randomly selected as part of a manual comparison against machine results.  

For this comparison, approximately 600 ballots from the 3rd Congressional District race will be counted by hand, to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment. The selected ballots will be counted in the total returns on Election Day.

Beginning Wednesday, July 17, Clark County Elections will mail ballots to all eligible registered voters.

If a voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, July 25, they should contact the Elections Office at 564.397.2345 to request a replacement ballot. Starting July 22, replacement ballots may also be requested or accessed electronically at VoteWA.gov to print out and return by mail or drop box. Email requests should be sent to elections@clark.wa.gov. The mailing address is Clark County Elections Office, PO Box 8815, Vancouver, WA 98666-8815.
