Luigi & Louisa Podesta Farm purchased 20 acres along Curtin Creek in 1911. Later they added 40 more acres. They raised four children there and the youngest son, Joe, inherited the property and farmed it and raised dairy and beef cattle until his death in 1993. Forty acres were sold in 1976 and the farm is now back to its original 20 acres.
